Happy M`sia Birthday

Today is national day,anyway here in singapore,NUS,my hall,nobody celebrating,just in msn,as our celebration will be delayed,so to show patriot, i`ll put m`sian flag in msn for till 1st sept.

Heavy workload

Hmm..now i found out tat there`re so many things u can do,join,learn,experience in university,but the cruel truth is u can`t do everything u might wan to do,coz u wun have enough time for every single thing u like,so u have to put away,or put aside something,or not surely will be overwhelm.Lets say in academic,for every module,the textbook is damn thick(n expensive too),but hose book are really good,but the problem is u wun have time to go through in detail,so wat can do just follow the lecture slide n tutorial.It is possible for me to go through in detail,but after then i`ll become bookworm(or phantom which never show in the hall),i dun think it`s a wise choice.And then the university`s english learning resources oso quite many,the centre got lots of magazine ,movie ,n books for writing skill learning,seems so useful,i wish i`ll make use of it,but perhaps i only got time in holiday..And the tutorial,so many tutorials,I have to finish most of them in this weekend,huh,have to do everything by ur own will,no one will force u,n i can slack,just tat i`ve to pay after tat.Hall activities is part of the reason i`ve to finish work in this weekend,coz now inter-block game,various sports games are going on,so evening after lecture,then activities till 9 or 10pm,then after tat is my study time,till 2 or 3am,after 3 then i really cannot concentrate liao..So i`ll not be joining every sports games next week,maybe one or two out of 3,at least show my face in some sports,so tat i wun be consider as "phantom".The games are fun,but really time consuming.The good thing is now i start to get the picture of daily studies,later i`ll got the whole thing n perhaps i`ll got a systematic plan btw studies n activities..

Tomorow will have a concert call "Timeless Classic",its one of the four performance of NUS centennial celebration,form of symphony orchestra,choir,wind symphony,piano essemble,n guitar club.I`ll be going there,n then hopefully will be successful...Should be a intersting performance,n then the price still ok,$8,n the theater is really great..

Have to study liao..

Semester "finally" started(although it started two weeks ago but the lecture dun really start),so i have to start studying liao,its the end of the orientation,but for hall,our inter block game,which is a sports competition between every block in the hall,n then next week will be the audition for those cultural groups in hall,haha,i signed up for choir,accapella,inspire(song composing),n maybe rockers,hopefully i can get in those groups.bz bz n bz....have to find the balance btw hall life n study..Anyway,today i`ve made a first move to study liao,morning went to library to print note,as my notebook still not ready yet!!!at 1st went to business library,its cheaper there,4cents(SGD),but the computer without powerpoint,so some notes cannot print out,so i have to walk to central library,quite far ,tooks bout 10 min.Later on then went for lunch,food here its ok la,but i missed roti canai in m`sia,roti here is called prata,but its smaller n thicker,not so nice,the 1st thing i wanna do when i`m back is eat at mamak .afternoon then i study in business library,quite nice leh studying there,coz got a-cond,so hot in the room,but just then the book is very thick ,damn heavy,i have to carry dictionary too,as the hall study room is open after 5pm,so the nearest library which i can walk there is bz library.Hmm,lazy to crap liao,..zzzzzz....

New life,New World

Well,i`m just back from NUS Flag day,being standing beside road asking for donation from morning 7am till late afternoon.But of coz i`m not so hardworking ,in the afternoon we together went window shopping around as we`re really tired,then rest in the library(s`pore got so many libraries),so the working time,should be 4-5 hours ,then when i was back in hall,i sleep straight away.
Should be my 1st post since i`m here in singapore,went through bout 2 weeks orientation,its very tiring,instead,its really fun,precious experience.If wanna write down,it`ll takes 10 pages more,so i just summary out.
1st day here,dunno where to stay,then asked the cab,n then at last stayed at chinatown.
2nd day here,checked in the hall,n then my AMCISA(chinese independent high school assocition)senior bring me along to handle some procedures,n then buy some goods,thanx her so much.
3rd day,joined amcisa camp,oso dun remember so much,i only remember,its fun.
4th day,oso in amcisa camp,still,its fun..
5th day,last day in amcisa camp,we spent whole day in Sentosa,quite a memorable night..
6th day,orientation for international student,by hall,fun oso..
then from 25th onwards,till now we have orientation..during this time we play lots of games,cheers n funs,i never learned so many cheers in my life,like going mad..n then in the orientation we oso have dating game,we have to date for seniors from other block(our hall got 5 blocks),so have to find wan target,n then do sth else for her to win her as date in formal dinner,huh,till now still dun have target ,i`ll find wan,since tat its quite late now..
For the Uni,we have to bid for our modules in each sem,so its just like share market,each module have vaccancies,n lowest highest bid point,n then we have to bid for the module we want,but for engineering 1st year we are protected,so some modules already allocated for us,but still i have to bid for some..
The hall,I really feel tat i`m very lucky coz i got this hall,in hall,i can experience campus life,it is a totally different thing btw staying in hall and the rest,coz hall,is part of our identity in uni,n hall,we can noe various friend,from any part of the world,its really interesting,now i feel proud of my hall n my Uni,its just a starting,hopefully i`m not wrong...
I`ll just stop here,perhaps the journey will continue.....c ya...
